Things I've wanted to try but haven't actually had a chance to try, things I've known about but haven't had the chance to experience.
"First Time Festival" is an experiential event that brings together everyone's "first times."
The spacious venue, the ruins of Naniwa Palace, will feature a wide range of experiential content.
You can experience a variety of "firsts," such as taking in the view of Osaka Castle from a hot air balloon ride, something you rarely get a chance to do, enjoying a movie at an outdoor theater you've always wanted to see, or trying bouldering, something you've seen on TV but never done before.
Please come to the "First Festival," an event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.
These are ruins of an ancient palace that stretch across the Hoenzaka area of Chuo Ward, Osaka City, and played a major role in Japan's ancient history as the capital or secondary capital for approximately 150 years, from when the capital was moved to Naniwa in December of the first year of the Taika era (645), as recorded in the Nihon Shoki, until the capital was moved to Nagaokakyo in 784.
Currently, approximately 14.5 hectares has been designated as a national historic site (Naniwa Palace Ruins and Hoenzaka Ruins), and development is underway as part of an effort to ensure that the Naniwa Palace ruins, a valuable historical heritage, are passed on to future generations.
The ancient city of Naniwa was home to Naniwa Port, a port open to the world since ancient times, and was highly advanced and international, playing an important role in Japan's diplomacy. This advanced and international spirit has been passed down to the present day, and it is the starting point of the city of Osaka.
This project is being carried out as part of the Naniwa Palace Ruins Park (northern block) maintenance and operation project and the Naniwa Palace Ruins (southern block) management and operation project to improve the appeal of the project (Osaka Prefecture and City).

Let's dance together while watching a movie and have fun.
