"Texture of the Town" Digital ZINE

What can we do now to create a city that creates new value?
At NTT Urban Development, we are sincerely addressing this question by anticipating social changes and pioneering the future through design.

This year's theme is "How to Read the City."
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm sure there are many people whose views and perceptions of the city have changed somewhat.
For example, you could step into an alley you've always passed by, move to a more suburban area, or live another life in a city that appears in virtual space.

We thought that by observing how various people view and interpret their city, we might gain some insights as we consider "urban development unique to each city," so we decided to conduct research on this theme using a variety of approaches.

The results of our research have been published on note as a digital zine called "Texture of the City," so please take a look.

This year's theme is "How to Read the City."
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm sure there are many people whose views and perceptions of the city have changed somewhat.
For example, stepping into an alleyway you'd previously passed right by, moving to a suburban area, or finding another life in a city that appears in virtual space... We thought
that by observing how various people see and interpret their city, we might gain some insights as people who consider "urban development unique to that city," so we decided to conduct research on this theme using a variety of approaches. We have published our research findings on note as a digital zine called "Texture of the City," so please take a look.
