NTT Urban Solutions Group was established in July 2019 to promote the NTT Group's urban development business.
As a member of this community, we value the ties we have cultivated over the years and will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by balancing the development of local communities with the resolution of social issues through the creation of unique and vibrant towns that create rich communities and cultures.

Solving issues unique to each city
Urbannet Sendai Central Building
Regional revitalization through industry-government-academia collaboration
The Arpannet Sendai Chuo Building is the first property in the Sendai City Center Reconstruction Project, in which Sendai City promotes the renewal of aging buildings within the city.
In addition to being a highly functional office space with one of the largest spaces in the west side of Sendai Station, the facility will also have functions to promote industrial use in conjunction with the next-generation synchrotron radiation "NanoTerasu," and will function as a startup hub aiming for co-creation and innovation, contributing to further revitalizing industry in Sendai City and Miyagi Prefecture.
03Cultivating a new lifestyle
Motomachi area, Hiroshima city
A new and exciting lifestyle in the city
Realization of the "Urban Park Life HIROSHIMA" concept
Motomachi Credo pacela which has been in operation in the Motomachi area of Hiroshima City for approximately 30 years, has been completed with the addition of Hiroshima Gate Park (opening: March 2023), HIROSHIMA STADIUM PARK (August 2024), Hiroshima Castle Sannomaru (March 2025 (first phase)), and Hiroshima Prefectural Office Shop & Cafe (March 2025). The extensive development and management of approximately 23 hectares will further revitalize Hiroshima City's downtown area and improve accessibility, while also creating a new urban lifestyle by utilizing outdoor spaces filled with nature, which are rare in the city.

A city media beloved for a long time
With Harajuku's concept is "A hangout that weaves the future - a new presentation stage for Tokyo that spreads culture and creativity to the world."
The "road architecture" centered around a passage connecting Harajuku Station and Takeshita Street will increase the bustle and mobility of the entire town, further revitalizing the area. In this modern age where lifestyles are diversifying, the store lineup will continue to showcase the evolution of fashion and lifestyles.

Providing "comfort" and "energy savings" through digital technology
In the common areas of major large-scale office buildings owned by NTT Group, we have introduced an "AI Air Conditioning Optimal Control Service." This service uses data on weather, indoor temperature and humidity, and people flow to predict changes in room temperature and building comfort, and proactively controls the air conditioning to achieve both comfort and energy savings. By utilizing NTT Group ICT technology, we are contributing to reducing air conditioning-related costs in buildings, decarbonizing, and even promoting healthy management and improving corporate value for tenants.

"Leave" and "inherit" what is there
Urban Development
Shin Puh Kan / Ace Hotel Kyoto makes use of the design of the former Kyoto Central Telephone Office, while The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu preserves and utilizes the former Kiyomizu Elementary School building and classrooms.
We focus on the location, environment, and uniqueness of the place, designing special times and spaces, building up the memories of the place, and fostering its culture. Rather than tearing down old things and rebuilding from scratch, we are developing hotels with the idea of "preserving" and "inheriting" what is there.

08Taking on the challenge of urban development around the world
36 Wellington

Promoting overseas property development by utilizing domestic development track record
36 Wellington in Melbourne, Australia, is a 15-story building with a mixed reinforced concrete and timber structure that was completed in October 2023. As the tallest wooden office building in the area, the building aims to be a net-zero carbon building by reducing its environmental impact through the use of thinned wood, and by incorporating energy conservation and creation mechanisms and switching to renewable energy for all its electricity usage. It also meets the environmental standards for central high-rise wooden buildings established by the Australian government's Green Bank, and has attracted attention locally as an environmentally friendly building.
