NTT Group's unique
Promoting new urban development

NTT Urban Solutions Group was established in July 2019 to promote the NTT Group's real estate and construction businesses.
With the rapid spread of AI, growing environmental awareness, and the transition to a sustainable society, society is undergoing significant changes. As a part of this, we, as a member of the NTT Group, will continue to cherish the connections with local communities that the NTT Group has cultivated over many years, and will continue to strive towards realizing a society where everyone can live in peace and security.

Solving issues unique to each city

Urbannet Sendai Central Building

Regional revitalization through industry-government-academia collaboration

"Urbannet Sendai Chuo Building" is the first project under the "Sendai City Center Redevelopment Project," in which the city of Sendai is promoting the renewal of aging buildings within the city.
In addition to being one of the largest high-performance office spaces in the area west of Sendai Station, it also features functions to promote industrial use in conjunction with the 3GeV high-brightness synchrotron radiation facility "NanoTerasu," and functions as a startup hub aiming for co-creation and innovation, contributing to the further revitalization of industries in Sendai City and Miyagi Prefecture.

03 Fostering new lifestyles that create vibrancy

Motomachi area, Hiroshima city

A new and exciting lifestyle in the city
Realization of the "Urban Park Life HIROSHIMA" concept

Centered around "Motomachi Credo pacela," which had been operating in the Motomachi area of Hiroshima City for approximately 30 years, we developed "Hiroshima Gate Park," "HIROSHIMA STADIUM PARK," "Hiroshima Castle San-no-maru (Phase 1)," and "Hiroshima Prefectural Government Front Shop & Cafe."
Through the extensive development and management of approximately 23 hectares, we will contribute to the further revitalization and improved accessibility of Hiroshima City's downtown area, while also creating a new urban lifestyle by utilizing the rare, nature-filled outdoor space within the city.

Expanding the depth of the city
Cultural Creation Hub

Our first mixed-use commercial complex, "HARAJUKU QUEST" which opened in 1988, will be relaunched in 2025.
Based on the concept of "Re: HARAJUKU CULTURE," this facility explores the unique and diverse Harajuku culture of the world, providing a place where visitors can encounter unexpected inspiration and discoveries.
By connecting Omotesando and Harajuku with a passage, and collaborating with "With Harajuku" in front of Harajuku Station, this project will enhance the vibrancy and walkability of the entire area, contributing to an overall increase in the value of the area.

Providing "comfort" and "energy savings" through digital technology

In the common areas of our major large-scale office buildings, we have introduced an "AI-powered optimal air conditioning control service" that uses data such as weather, indoor temperature and humidity, and pedestrian traffic to predict changes in room temperature and the comfort level of building occupants, and proactively controls the air conditioning to achieve both comfort and energy savings.
NTT Group's use of ICT will contribute to reducing building air conditioning costs, decarbonization, and further enhance the health management and corporate value of our tenants.

"Leave" and "inherit" what is there
Urban Development

"Shin Puh Kan / Ace Hotel Kyoto" preserves and utilizes the design of the former Kyoto Central Telephone Exchange, completed in 1926. "The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu" is a conversion of the former Shimizu Elementary School building, completed in 1933, and "Capella Kyoto" reuses building materials from the former Shinmichi Elementary School building.
We are committed to the sense of place, the environment, and uniqueness, weaving together the memories of the land and pursuing value that can only be found there—rather than creating something anew from scratch, we are developing a way of thinking that "inherits and utilizes" what already exists.
