Click hereNTT Urban Development Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsujigami Hiroshi) is pleased to announce that the condominium salon for Wellith Kakuozan Houocho, which is scheduled for completion in December 2023 in Houocho, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, will open on Thursday, March 30, 2023, within the first floor of the Cassina IXC Nagoya store (Naka-ku, Nagoya).
Wellith Kakuozan Houomachi will be built in the historic Kakuozan Houomachi area. It is a rare 14-storey high-rise planned for the area around Kakuozan Station, and offers views of the greenery of Kakuozan Nittaiji Temple and Yokiso, two of Kakuozan's most iconic landmarks. The surrounding area is also surrounded by lush greenery, and the design concept is "a dwelling in the mountains in the city, where you can experience the dignified natural atmosphere of being in the mountains, even while in the city."
Designers Hayashi Kunimi & Atelier R were appointed to oversee the design of the building. The exterior of the property features abundant vegetation, expressing the green path that continues from Kakuozan Nittaiji Temple and Yokiso. Materials were also carefully selected, including the use of original tiles made specifically for the property. In particular, maple was used in the approximately 20m gallery leading to the main entrance, allowing visitors to feel the colors of the seasons. The path to the entrance is a space that expresses "living in the mountains in the city," where visitors can experience the quiet passage of time.
"Wellith Kakuozan Hououcho" property features
The property, "Wellith Kakuozan Hououcho," is a 14-story reinforced concrete building with 77 units in total, planned to have 29 different types of units ranging from 2LDK/60m2 to 3LDK/140m2.
In pursuit of comfortable living, the interior corridor design ensures a highly independent living environment with over 79% of units being corner units and excellent ventilation and lighting. A dedicated delivery box is installed in front of each entrance, and the property has acquired ZEH Oriented certification*1, which takes into consideration insulation and energy conservation. In addition, a driveway has been installed on the north side of the site, and there are 85 spaces for 77 units, resulting in a parking ratio of 110%.
Collaboration between "Wellith Kakuozan Houmachi" and Cassina IXC
For this property, we worked with Cassina ixc. on the following initiatives, aiming to propose an ideal living space together.
・Installation of an apartment salon within a store, a first for both companies
A model apartment will be set up inside a Cassina store, and the store will not only provide information and sales of the apartments, but also offer lifestyle suggestions, including interior design. This is the first such initiative for both companies.
At this salon, Cassina ixc. staff will be available to assist interested visitors in interior coordination from the time they consider purchasing an apartment. Visitors can consult while viewing the furniture in the store, allowing them to more concretely visualize their living space, including the furniture layout for the floor plan they are considering, while proceeding with their apartment purchase.
・Model room interior coordination
Cassina ixc was also used for the interior coordination of the model room. The 2LDK model room is modeled after a dual-income household with a keen interest in food, clothing, and shelter, and is furnished with calming colors and sophisticated furniture.
・Color coordination within the residence
Cassina IXC was used to coordinate the colors of the fixtures, flooring, tiles, wallpaper, kitchen countertops, and other interior elements of the apartments, and five patterns have been prepared. All of the colors are easy to match with the furniture, and the apartment buyers have been devised to be able to enjoy creating their own space freely.

The property's entrance hall lounge is furnished with furniture from Cassina IXC. The entrance hall lounge has a large opening, allowing guests to sit on sofas and chairs and enjoy the gallery that serves as the courtyard.
