■About The Leading Hotels of the World
LHW was founded in September 1928 by a European hotelier as a hotel group offering approximately 9,000 rooms in 38 historic and traditional hotels.
In the same year, the company established its headquarters in New York and began reservations and sales operations in the United States and Canada, but in response to the growing demand for luxury hotels, it decided to recruit new member hotels from around the world in early 1971, and by the end of the 1980s, the group had grown to include 235 member hotels. Today, it is a leading hotel group with more than 430 member hotels in Asia, Africa, Oceania, the Caribbean, Europe, Central America, South America, and North America.
The company also has 25 sales offices and 13 reservation centers in major cities around the world, and operates the Leaders Club, a private membership organization for business executives and wealthy individuals from around the world.
Membership is subject to strict screening criteria, which include not only management, service, equipment, facilities, and staff, but also the hotel's philosophy, business policy, history, and track record.Only carefully selected hotels that meet the screening criteria of over 800 items are allowed to join.

■About "The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu"
The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu opened in March 2020, preserving and utilizing the former Kyoto Municipal Kiyomizu Elementary School building, which opened in 1869 as the 27th Shimogyo Elementary School and was relocated and newly constructed in the early Showa period on this site facing the approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a World Heritage Site.

Based on the concept of "carving memories and connecting to the future," the hotel cherishes the history of this school that has been loved by the local community for many years, and by taking advantage of its unique location, it combines "spectacular views" that can only be seen here with "experiences" that can only be had at this hotel, providing guests with "the joy of a memorable trip." With this opportunity to join LHW, the hotel aims to allow even more international guests to experience the charms of its hotel.
