Thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy schedules to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hiroshima Castle Sannomaru Improvement Project today. Thanks to you, we were able to complete the groundbreaking ceremony without any problems. I would like to express my gratitude once again.

Our company moved to its current location in Motomachi in 1961, and for the past 63 years we have been operating alongside Hiroshima Castle. We believe we have created a lively atmosphere by hosting events such as the Food Festival every autumn and the TeamLab Hiroshima Castle "Festival of Light" five years ago.
We believe that it is our company's mission to create excitement in the area around Hiroshima Castle.

Looking back at history, Hiroshima Castle is the starting point of the city of Hiroshima.
After the castle was built, Hiroshima developed into a castle town and became a key political, economic and transportation hub. Although many of the historic sites were lost in the atomic bombing, the history of the castle town itself will never be lost.

We intend to ensure that Hiroshima Castle remains a place where people can come into contact with the history and culture of the city of Hiroshima. The first phase of the Sannomaru area will open in March 2025, a year from now. The following year, in the fall of 2026, the History Museum will open, and Sannomaru Hiroshima Castle will be reborn.

I hope to work hard with everyone gathered here so that the lively atmosphere of the newly reborn Hiroshima Castle can contribute even a little to the development of the city of Hiroshima. Finally, I would like to ask all those involved in the construction to continue the work safely and reliably. Thank you very much for your time today.

I am Okumura from Fujita Corporation, as you have just heard.
On behalf of the contractor, I would like to say a few words of thanks. Thank you very much for allowing us to take charge of the construction work for the Hiroshima Castle Sannomaru Improvement Project.

Our company was founded in Hiroshima, and we hope to contribute to the development of the city every day. Shortly after the war, we were involved in the reconstruction of Hiroshima Castle's keep, and we are delighted to have been able to take part in this project together with everyone at Sannomaru, Hiroshima Castle, a symbol of Hiroshima.
Through this project, we hope to build a new, lively facility that can be used not only by domestic and international travelers but also by local Hiroshima residents, thereby contributing to the development of Hiroshima City.

During construction, our first priority will be to ensure that there are no accidents or disasters, and we intend to hand over a facility that is filled with the wisdom and thoughts of all those involved.
