We are pleased to announce that LIFORK Akihabara, which has been operating since April 2018, will be offering a new office space that will further enhance the "value of coming together" by improving worker convenience, improving teamwork, and stimulating communication.

New rental rooms for 10 and 12 people have been established within the shared office.

As the post-COVID-19 trend of returning to offices continues, there is an increasing need for larger spaces, particularly among early- and mid-stage startups. In response, LIFORK will be introducing two fully private rooms for 10 people and one for 12 people within its shared office space. In addition to individual air conditioning, the lighting will be the first of its kind in any LIFORK facility, featuring Endo Lighting Co., Ltd.'s next-generation dimming and color-adjustable "Synca" lighting. Skylight-like lighting brings natural light into the office space, creating a gentle, sun-soaked feel. In response to feedback from existing LIFORK members, the company has adopted chairs with ingenious features, such as footrests and lumbar support, to reduce fatigue even when sitting for long periods of time, reducing physical strain and improving work efficiency. Furthermore, viewing trains passing by through the large windows in each room provides a refreshing change of pace from the daily routine and encourages a change of mood.

LIFORK Akihabara's shared offices, including the newly established rental rooms, can be registered and used as an address ^{*1 and} are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year ^*2. LIFORK shared office tenants ^*3 can also use the newly established private booths in the lounge free of charge.

Introducing the new RICOH PRISM next-generation conference space, which brings out team creativity

Furthermore, as part of efforts to increase the added value of Akihabara UDX, the next-generation conference space "RICOH PRISM," developed by Ricoh Co., Ltd. (Head office: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Akira Oyama; hereinafter referred to as "Ricoh"), will be installed within LIFORK Akihabara.

As flexible working styles such as hybrid work become mainstream in the post-COVID era, the value and purpose of coming to the office is expected to be "stimulating communication that enhances teamwork and creativity."

The newly introduced RICOH PRISM is a next-generation meeting space designed to enhance team creativity. In addition to the auto-facilitation function, it supports effective meetings by achieving a high level of immersion through a variety of spatial effects that stimulate the five senses, including video, light, sound, and touch. RICOH PRISM is available to anyone who has completed SPACE membership registration, including LIFORK Akihabara users and Akihabara UDX residents. Reservations are being accepted starting today, with use starting on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
