Hiroshima Castle Associates (a consortium of 11 companies, including Chugoku Broadcasting as the representative corporation) is pleased to announce that it has decided on the outline of the commercial facilities scheduled to open in March 2025 as part of the Hiroshima Castle Sannomaru Development Project (Park-PFI Project), as well as the logo mark for the Sannomaru area of Hiroshima Castle.
■Hiroshima Castle Sannomaru logo mark (vertical and horizontal layout)

■Logo mark concept
By symbolizing "Sannomaru" with the motif of three circles and the castle ruins symbol,
We created a logo mark with a simple design that is easy for everyone to remember.
The three circles also represent the past, present, and future, expressing the idea of learning from the past to create something new.
We aimed to create a design that would be loved for a long time as a symbol of a new tourist destination, possessing the dignity of a hub for disseminating history and culture, while also being approachable.

■Hiroshima Castle Sannomaru 1st Phase Area Overview
Five new stores will be established, including restaurants where you can enjoy Hiroshima and Japanese cuisine, stores where you can experience Japanese history and culture such as the tea ceremony and archery, and a product center offering a selection of Hiroshima's most famous products, popular items, and locally loved souvenirs.
"SOKO Cafe" is a matcha cafe supervised by the Ueda Soko school of samurai tea ceremony, which has been passed down in Hiroshima for 400 years. We aim to be a cafe that is loved not only by tourists but also by local residents.
In addition, a parking lot with a capacity of 67 cars and a tourist bus stop will be built, making the facility a tourist hub for accessing Hiroshima city center.
We will implement initiatives to "convey and preserve the value of Hiroshima Castle" through exciting historical experiences that everyone can enjoy.
