(" NTT Urban Development"), NTT Urban Value Support (" NTT Urban Value Support"), and NTT FACILITIES (" NTT FACILITIES"), as part of the "Naniwanomiya Site Park (Northern Block) Development and Operation Project and Naniwanomiya Site (Southern Block) Management and Operation Project" (hereafter "the Project"), In the northern block of the Naniwanomiya Site Park, the Group has begun restoration of the late Nairi Shoden (main building) and corridors of the Naniwanomiya Palace, and construction of commercial facilities and parking lots to enhance the convenience of the park (hereinafter referred to as "this maintenance").
The construction is scheduled to be completed around March 2025, with the line scheduled to open in April 2025.
[Business overview]
This project *1 is Osaka City's first Park-PFI project, and our group received public tender approval (as of April 20, 2023). We are working to promote the project under the business concept of "Minnanoniwa Naniwa no Miya."
Business Concept
Minnanoniwa Garden
Naniwa Palace is not only a heritage left behind by ancient people, but also a valuable open space that has been preserved since the 1950s through the initiative of local residents.
Our group will carry on that history and position this place as a "niwa" (garden) for the town, where citizens can use it as their own place and protect and nurture it.
By maximizing its appeal, we will create a place where citizens can meet, foster affection and pride, weave a new history, and pass it on to the future together with the citizens.
[Development details in the northern block]
We will work to develop the park into a historical park that clearly displays the remains of Naniwa Palace (a palace that existed from the Asuka period to the Nara period), as well as an urban park that will increase convenience for visitors.
Development as a historical park
By displaying the early and late corridors, restoring the late Imperial Palace main hall (base), and installing explanatory boards for each historical relic, the park will promote the historical appeal of Naniwa Palace, allowing visitors to get a firsthand feel for its scale and the atmosphere of the time.
Development as an urban park
The park aims to be a comfortable and convenient place to live, with a grassy plaza overlooking Osaka Castle, commercial facilities facing the grassy plaza, and car and bicycle parking areas.

Additionally, Capella Hotel Group's new lifestyle brand, Patina Hotels & Resorts (Hotel name: Patina Osaka), is scheduled to open in the spring of 2025 on the adjacent land to the east *2.
Through these efforts, we aim to increase the area's appeal as a historical and tourist hub and encourage people to travel to the surrounding area.
