"WELL Certification" is a global standard certification system that evaluates not only the environmental performance of a building, but also the creation of spaces that enhance the health and wellness of building users.

This property is the first rental building in the Western Japan area *2 to receive the WELL Core certification, and was highly praised for its "creation of comfortable common areas that evoke a sense of nature" and "support for healthy lifestyles for workers."

Additionally, when tenants of this property obtain WELL certification for their own private areas, they will be exempt from certain assessment items and receive discounts on the assessment fees, meaning that obtaining certification for this property will also contribute to increasing the corporate value of the tenants.

Using this property as a pioneering example, we will continue to proactively work towards corporate health management and transformation to well-being work styles.

  • WELL certification is an international performance evaluation system that focuses on people's health and wellness and evaluates the indoor environment and services of buildings and city blocks. It is operated by the American public utility company IWBI (International WELL Building Institute). Buildings are evaluated from 10 perspectives: air, water, food, light, exercise, thermal environment, sound, materials, mind, and community, and are ranked into four categories: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum based on the overall score.

In addition, "WELL Core" is a WELL certification that primarily targets common areas of rental buildings (buildings built for the purpose of being rented out and primarily used as offices or stores).

  • "Western Japan area" refers to the area west of the Kinki region.

Vice President, Asia Pacific, Jack Noonan

As WELL certification continues to expand across the Asia-Pacific region, NTT Urban Development is a key player in supporting this growth. NTT Urban Development 's commitment to health and well-being in office development will deliver great results for both office workers and businesses. Congratulations!

<Creating a comfortable common space where you can feel nature>

In the common areas reserved for tenants, workers can communicate with each other while enjoying the fresh air and views, and can also be used for light work, rest, and a change of pace. The building also incorporates an abundance of natural materials and greenery, creating a comfortable space that stimulates the sensibilities and creativity of workers.

  • ① Lounge (11th floor)

The lounge is equipped with a variety of seating and individual booths to support ABW, and has many indoor plants so that employees can enjoy a sense of greenery while they work.
