The GLION ARENA KOBE Project is a privately-run arena project, developed by NTT Urban Development, which won the right of first negotiating in 2021 as part of the Kobe Waterfront Redevelopment Project, which was publicly solicited by Kobe City. Smart Value and Docomo will be in charge of operation. NTT Urban Development also signed a development partner agreement in March 2025, announcing that they will go beyond their traditional roles of development and operation and work together to create new value centered on the arena *1.

What is "GLION ARENA KOBE"?

This multi-purpose arena, with a capacity of 10,000 people, is scheduled to host a variety of events, including home games for the Kobe Storks, Hyogo Prefecture's only professional basketball club in the B.LEAGUE, as well as professional sporting events, music concerts, and MICE. The VIP floor, packed with unique Kobe touches, will offer a new viewing experience, and several restaurants and shops will open simultaneously, allowing visitors to enjoy the open feeling of the waterfront. Together with TOTTEI PARK on the south side of the arena, efforts will be made to create a landmark that will inspire Kobe's civic pride.

GLION ARENA KOBE Project Concept

Opening on the 30th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the facility's mission is to "raise the heart rate of the world," and aims to create a "new landmark area that we can be proud of for the next generation" that will bring about new surprises and excitement through the fusion of sports, entertainment, and digital technology.

In addition, based on the business partnership agreement *2 concluded between Smart Value and Kobe City to "create the future of the city center and waterfront area," we will work on new urban development (regional revitalization) and solving social issues centered around the arena.

One Bright KOBE has launched the "TOTTEI KOBE Official App" *3, an entertainment app that will further enhance the TOTTEI and Kobe experience. The app will promote increased mobility around the arena with features that allow visitors to enjoy themselves before they arrive, such as discount coupons and a stamp rally.
