We have achieved 100% renewable energy use in all of our properties, both domestically and internationally.

NTT Urban Solutions Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO Kou Ikeda) is pleased to announce ^that, as of March 31, 2026, it has completed the switch to electricity derived from virtually renewable energy (hereinafter referred to as "renewable energy") for all electricity used by tenants in all of its properties in Japan and overseas, as well as electricity used at its business locations*1.

Our group has adopted the environmental slogan "Green Future with US" and has been promoting decarbonization initiatives, including the introduction of additionally available renewable energy, to achieve our environmental impact reduction targets of "Scope 1, 2^{, and 3 carbon neutrality by FY2050" and "Scope 1 and 2} carbon neutrality and a 45% reduction in Scope 1, 2, and ³ carbon emissions (compared to FY2020) by FY2030."

In switching to renewable energy sources, we began our efforts in FY2021 and achieved 100% renewable energy in the common areas of properties solely owned by our group in FY2022. Since then, in addition to introducing renewable energy sources with additional potential, we have promoted the switching of tenants' electricity usage and implemented energy-saving measures, resulting in 100% renewable energy in a total of 273 properties by the end of FY2025: 63 office buildings, 17 commercial facilities, 7 hotels, 22 rental housing units, 18 overseas properties, 129 domestic business locations, and 17 overseas business locations. This represents an important milestone toward achieving our environmental impact reduction targets.

Our group will maintain 100% renewable energy for the electricity we use going forward, and will also strive to achieve 100% renewable energy in newly developed and acquired properties and business bases we establish. We will further strengthen our efforts toward realizing a decarbonized society by improving the quality of renewable energy through the introduction of additional renewable energy sources and expanding the use of diverse renewable energy sources.

Representative initiatives toward achieving 100% renewable energy

1.Additional renewable energy introduction

①Off-site Corporate PPA

NTT Urban Development Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasushi Ikeda) and NTT Anode Energy Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Teruyuki Kishimoto) have entered into an off-site corporate PPA agreement, enabling the introduction of additional renewable energy sources from April 2025.

②Virtual PPA

NTT FACILITIES Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Susumu Kawaguchi) and NTT Anode Energy Corporation have entered into a virtual PPA agreement, enabling NTT FACILITIES Innovation Center (Koto-ku, Tokyo) to achieve 100% renewable energy with additional value derived from woody biomass, starting in June 2026.

2.Promoting the switchover of tenant usage

To achieve 100% renewable energy for electricity, including use in private areas, NTT Urban Value Support Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshito Takahashi) procured non-fossil fuel certificates from the trading market, and with the cooperation of many tenants, achieved 100% renewable energy by the end of 2025.

3.Promoting energy conservation through air conditioning commissioning.

NTT FACILITIES Inc. has been promoting energy conservation by implementing HVAC commissioning since 2024, which involves verifying and evaluating equipment performance based on operational data and utilizing the results for optimal tuning of equipment and design feedback for equipment replacement, thereby maintaining and improving HVAC equipment performance and throughout the entire building lifecycle.
