今回、日本国内では145軒のミシュランキーホテルが誕生し、NTT都市開発グループとしては、2026年3月に開業した「カペラ京都」が「素晴らしい滞在を提供するホテル」と評価される『２ミシュランキー』を獲得。また、「パティーナ大阪」は2年連続、「ザ・ホテル青龍 京都清水」「エースホテル京都」は3年連続で『１ミシュランキー』を獲得しました。
今回の発表により、NTT都市開発が開発・所有し、NTT都市開発ホテルマネジメントが経営するホテル8施設のうち、4つがミシュランキーホテルとなりました。
また、英国の著名なラグジュアリー旅行誌「コンデナスト・トラベラー」が発表した読者投票による「コンデナスト・トラベラー リーダーズ・チョイス・アワード2026」の日本のトップホテル部門において、「カペラ京都」「パティーナ大阪」「エースホテル京都」の3ホテルがトップ10に選出されました。（公式サイト：These are officially the best hotels in Asia, as voted for in the 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards | CN Traveller）

NTT Urban Development Group has expanded its hotel business since the opening of "The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu" and "Ace Hotel Kyoto" in 2020, and in the past six years, it has developed and managed eight hotels with 1,351 rooms nationwide. We believe that we have been recognized for our development capabilities that connect unique regional stories to one-of-a-kind stay experiences, as well as the hospitality philosophy and operational know-how of each hotel brand, and the integrated management capabilities of NTT Urban Development Group, all of which are based on the idea of carefully interpreting the history, culture, climate, and community characteristics of each region and pursuing value that can only be found in that place.
- The "Michelin Key," established in 2024, is a new indicator that, like the "stars" for restaurants, is awarded to hotels selected from among those listed in the Michelin Guide, recognizing them as providing a particularly outstanding stay experience in terms of design, architecture, service, and other factors.
"Capella Kyoto" (First time selected, awarded "2 Michelin stars" / Ranked 6th in "Condé Nast Traveler")
カペラホテルグループのフラッグシップブランドである「カペラホテルズ＆リゾーツ」の日本初進出ホテルとして、2026年3月に開業しました。「カペラホテルズ＆リゾーツ」は、旅行業界において世界的に強い影響力を持つアメリカのTravel + Leisure（トラベル・アンド・レジャー）誌の読者投票により毎年選出されるアワードにおいて、2026年7月に史上初の4年連続で「World’s Best Hotel Brand」（世界ベストホテルブランド第1位）に選出されています。
全89室・50㎡以上の客室を備えるカペラ京都は、京都最古の禅寺・建仁寺や、花街文化を受け継ぐ宮川町歌舞練場に隣接し、明治2年に地域住民によって“番組小学校”として創設され、長年にわたり地域に親しまれてきた元新道（しんみち）小学校跡地に誕生しました。建築デザイン監修は隈研吾建築都市設計事務所、インテリアデザインはシンガポールを拠点とするBrewin Design Officeが担当しています。

"Patina Osaka" (Awarded "1 Michelin Star" for two consecutive years / Ranked 9th in "Condé Nast Traveler")
カペラホテルグループの最新のホテルブランド「パティーナホテルズ＆リゾーツ」の日本初進出ホテルで、2025年5月に開業しました。大阪城公園と難波宮跡公園に近接し、大阪都心を一望する全221室のラグジュアリーホテルです。50㎡のゆとりある客室のほか、スパ・フィットネス、レストラン、ボールルームを備え、上質な滞在体験を提供します。

"The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu" (awarded '1 Michelin star' for three consecutive years)
The former Kyoto Municipal Shimizu Elementary School, which opened in 1869 as Shimogyo 27th District Elementary School and was relocated and rebuilt on its current site in the early Showa period, has been preserved and renovated, and opened in March 2020 as a high-quality heritage hotel with 48 rooms. In addition to the functions expected of a hotel, it also takes on a new role in passing on the history and culture that the elementary school and the community have built over many years to a new era, based on the concept of "etching memories and connecting to the future."

Ace Hotel Kyoto (awarded '1 Michelin star' for three consecutive years / ranked 10th in Condé Nast Traveler)
This lifestyle hotel, with 213 rooms, opened in June 2020 within "Shin Puh Kan," a redeveloped complex that preserves and renovates a portion of the historic former Kyoto Central Telephone Exchange building. As Ace Hotel originated in Seattle, USA, it marks the hotel's first venture into Asia. Leveraging the playful spirit of Ace Hotel Hotels, which pays attention to detail while varying its design depending on the location, the hotel aims to be a place that celebrates Kyoto's rich nature and art, its ever-evolving culture, refined craftsmanship, and profound history.

voco Osaka Central (Selected as a Michelin Guide Selection Hotel)
Located in the historically bustling Kyomachibori area of Osaka, where merchants from Kyoto once opened markets, this 191-room hotel is the first in Japan to feature the "voco" brand, developed by IHG Hotels & Resorts. It also became the first IHG hotel in Japan to receive the international eco-certification "Green Key" in August 2026. By reusing and reconfiguring reliefs, mailboxes, and doors from the Taisho-era "Kyomachi Building," the hotel aims to contribute to the future environment and local community through sustainable hotel management that creates a space where new and nostalgic elements coexist, while inheriting the building's legacy.

Hyatt Centric Sapporo
This 216-room hotel is located on the upper floors of "Urbannet Sapporo Link Tower," a mixed-use complex featuring offices, a hotel, commercial stores, and startup support facilities, adjacent to the Red Brick Government Building (former Hokkaido Government Office) and Odori Park. It marks Hyatt's first hotel in Sapporo and opened on October 3, 2026 (Saturday). Featuring a design inspired by Hokkaido's rich nature and culture, all guest rooms are over 36 square meters, catering to a wide range of needs from business to leisure.
